Registrations are now open for the 2024 Winter Whale Fest, running from 1-30 June 2024, and we are beyond excited with how the Festival has evolved over the past few years!

Why not join the celebration of our beautiful whales by hosting a fun and thought-provoking activity as part of the Festival. Feel free to take a look at the 2023 Festival Program for some inspiration.

Ideas to inspire:

Activities focused on whales, ocean, marine life, and environmental sustainability including:

Hosting a beach clean up, working bees on the coast or island, educational talks, whaling history talks, films, seafood feasts, art exhibitions, book club, book signings, writing workshops, fundraiser events, quiz nights, tree planting days, special tours or guided walks, water activities, social gatherings for community groups to update members and encourage new members to join, fun activities for kids and/or adults.

We’d love to hear your ideas about events that celebrate and educate the community and visitors about whales, ocean, marine life and the environment.

If you’d like to get involved in the Festival, feel free to submit your idea below or phone Stacey Richardson, the City of Victor Harbor’s Festivals and Events Officer, on 8551 0500.
